Bed price from: $19.00- $22 USD

HI-Austin will charge a 15% Lodging Tax on all overnight stays in accordance with Texas state law. 

Guest must be at least 18 years of age to check-in, or accompanied by an adult.

Guest must show a government issued ID at check-in to stay at the hostel.

Opening times

No curfew!

Dorms are closed from 11 am to 3 pm.

Front Desk is open from 8am until 10pm.
Common area and facilities open all day; No check-in after 10 pm (22:00hr)

Group Reservations

Group reservations of more than 6 total beds require 50% hostel deposit and minimum one week cancellation notice.
Please call or email us for information on group reservations and discounts for parties of 6 or more.

Location: 3km-Southern shore of Town Lake, East or Interstate 35, off Riverside Drive.

Bus: 11km-Greyhound station, take bus #7 to Burton/E.Riverside, 5 minute walk North.

Parking: At the hostel

Rail: 5km-Amtrak station, walk one block North, bus#22 to 5th St./Congress Ave transfer to bus #26/27 to Burton/E Riverside, 5 minute walk North

Airport: 12km-Take bus #350 to Austin Community College, transfer to bus #26 to Burton/E. Riverside, 5 minute walk North
